Our Story

Diamantina Construction & Management was built from the ground up over 25 years ago, with a simple goal: to create strong, lasting projects that support Queensland communities. Founded by Brett Sandy, a proud First Nations business owner with decades of industry experience, the company began in commercial construction — delivering buildings, refurbishments, and maintenance for government, councils, and private investors.

Over time, our work on Country inspired us to look beyond bricks and mortar. Through Diamantina Holdings Limited, we expanded into drone technology, combining modern innovation with cultural responsibility. Our drone projects support Traditional Owners, councils, and research groups by mapping heritage sites, monitoring environments, and providing accurate data for planning and protection.

What drives us is more than contracts or projects. We are committed to creating opportunities for Indigenous people, respecting Country, and leaving a positive impact wherever we work. From construction sites to cultural mapping, we bring the same values to every job: respect, reliability, and results.

“We see a future where construction and technology work hand in hand to protect Country and strengthen communities.”
